Anderson (pictured) has been with Toronto-based Dig Insights since 2012, and during that time has advanced the company’s analytics, data science, and AI initiatives.

As chief data science officer, he will continue to lead AI and data science strategies, with the aim of ensuring the business remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

Beirne joined the company in 2015 and has been heavily involved in developing and expanding the Upsiide tool. As chief technology officer, Beirne will lead the evolution of Dig’s technology infrastructure, with the objective of ensuring integration between Upsiide and the company’s broader offer.

Dig Insights recently acquired strategic qualitative business Ignite 360 and trends company EBCO. The company said it is increasing its investment in technology-based insights by integrating AI and expanding its digital tools.

Paul Gaudette, chief executive, Dig Insights, said: “Joel and Frank  have been instrumental in shaping our AI and technology strategies, and their leadership will ensure we continue to set the standard for how businesses use data and technology to innovate.”

David Saunders, vice-president at Beringer Capital, an investor and strategic partner of Dig Insights, added: “Frank and Joel’s deep expertise in technology and data science will further position Dig Insights as a leader in digital innovation. Their promotions demonstrate Dig’s commitment to leveraging AI, analytics, and scalable technology to help businesses navigate the ever-changing consumer landscape.”
